MRS Studio is a game development studio based in Myanmar. It was founded on July 14, 2024. The studio focuses on creating war and strategy games. Some of its notable projects include Myanmar Civil War, Myanmar Arakan War, and Duckrick Firefight. While the first two games were shut down due to their political themes, Duckrick Firefight became a successful 2D realistic war strategy game featuring tactical battles involving ASEAN countries. MRS Studio is currently working on a new game called Emergency State of Burma in collaboration with BPS Studio.

Two years ago, I found a game called Firefight, and it quickly became my favorite game. I really liked it because I had been searching for mobile games similar to Warno and Red Dragon, but I didn’t have a PC. Then I found Firefight and started playing it with my friends. After a while, I noticed mods, and I loved them. One of the mods I saw was Flexxy's Russia-Ukraine War mod.

When I was younger, I started making YouTube videos about Minecraft and add-ons, which helped me understand files and modding. One day, I decided to try making a mod myself using Zarchiver, but I kept failing. I tried again and again, but nothing worked. There were no Firefight modders in Myanmar, and it was difficult. In fact, there were hardly any modders from America either; almost all of them were Russian. I didn’t fully understand English, so I wasn’t sure how I could communicate with the Russian modders.

It was tough, but eventually, I got some help. I started posting about my journey on TikTok, and it became popular. I began to gain followers. Then, I reconnected with an old friend named Feliks. He was older than me and we used to make YouTube videos together. Feliks taught me about different apps and editors, and from there, I started to learn on my own. Over time, I figured out how to make mods, and I became the first Firefight mod developer from Myanmar. It wasn’t easy, but I took it step by step.
